Licenses

Different versions of Autopsy are distributed under different licenses:

• Autopsy 2 source code is distributed under a GPL 2 license.
• Autopsy 3 and 4 source code are distributed under a Apache 2 license. The package though contains libraries that may have different licenses. The README.txt file lists the libraries and their licenses that are used.
